Hi, my name is Chuck.
I'm a seasoned business professional within the healthcare industry with 20+ years’ experience and currently a 2nd year Masters of Interior Design student at The Boston Architectural College. I am currently seeking to employ my extensive business background to the architectural and design field.
I have worked with professionals at all levels from many industries. I am accomplished in office management, operations, supervision of both people and processes, business process reengineering, improving efficiencies, and increasing profitability. I am well versed in client relations and relationship management of both internal and external customers, as well as ensuring client needs are always met.
I have worked as a freelance designer since 2004 and have successfully completed several residential and corporate office interior design projects. Mostly recently, I completed an office interiors project delivering a 4,000 sq.ft. Class B office space for a healthcare consulting firm. As the sole designer/project manager, I developed the space plan, specifications for renovations, secured office furniture and equipment, arranged for technology capabilities and coordinated the renovations with the onsite construction manager. I worked with vendors such as W.B. Mason and AIS to garner information and make the decision on which products would best suit my client’s needs and budget.
Currently searching for positions in my desired new career field ideally in a project management and design capacity where I can capitalize on my background and abilities.
