Minority Community Design Fellowship, Award
The Minority Community Design Program Fellowship was established in 1995 in memory of Professor of Architecture Ken Simmons. Professor Simmons was known and loved for his work in equal rights, urban planning, and community development. The Minority Community Design Program Fellowship honors his efforts and vision of diversity at CED by supporting students pursuing a career in community design.
Malcolm Reynolds Prize, Award
This prize is supported by an endowment made to the architecture department by Malcolm Reynolds, a noted Bay Area architect and graduate of UC Berkeley. It is awarded to incoming Master of Architecture students based on demonstrated excellence in the skills of an architect.
