“For me…architecture is a series of gestures, strokes on the earth’s canvas…an ambiguous performance between void and solid, glass and stone, inclusion and abstraction, purpose and interpretation.”

Philip R. Grocher

To Whom It May Concern:

For the past four years I have been a part of an award-winning architectural design firm, Landry Design Group.  Landry Design Group is a high-end residential design firm specializing in custom homes ranging from classical estates to villas, and contemporary designs.  Working with clients locally and internationally allowed me to collaborate with teams and consultants in the United States, China, Bahrain, and England.

Through this and other years of experience, I have worked through phases ranging from Marketing and Proposals, Schematic Design through to Construction Documents, and Construction Administration.  My resume illustrates a broad range of projects that include building types such as, high-end residential in the form of custom estates and single-family homes, duplexes and triplexes, and beach homes; including some commercial, mixed-use, and retail/office park experience.  I have led community design projects in the form of residential and commercial pattern books.  Through this, my architectural experience has covered numerous aspects of development in land and community planning.

I am extensively proficient in AutoCAD 2012 and earlier, Photoshop CS5 and earlier, and Illustrator, with some working experience in InDesign.  I have experience in 3D modeling and rendering via AutoCAD and 3D Studio Viz.  Currently, I am self-learning Revit.

If you would like to go over my professional portfolio in detail, please do not hesitate to contact me at 850.443.8296 or email me at [email protected].  Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Philip Ramon Grocher
