Forever curious how the creative process fits into every thing --- I am indeed an architect, but also a seamstress, illustrator, cartoonist, cook, knitter, researcher. The term "designer" is flexible, thus the word "construction" is not limited to wood and steel. I am interested in constructs -- be it physical, or social. I am especially interested in the construct of urban living -- its dynamism, resilience, flexibility, detriment and joy. These are constructs engaged in cycles of renewal and decline. They are containers of human needs and desires, of cultures and subcultures, of commerce and innovation. These are reflected upon in the urban fabric -- priorities, wants, and needs. Thus monitoring urban development, demographics markets, and social attitudes does not (must not) escape the architect's eye.
I am meticulous and conscientious, and have been involved in a handful of projects in my one and a half year experience as an architectural intern. I hope for many, many more. Do not hesitate to contact me!
