About

I am a recent University of Cincinnati graduate with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design. I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, but went to UC in order to be a part of one of the nation’s top interior design programs.  I chose interior design as a major because I have been intrigued with design since I was a little kid creating cities with Legos and building forts using everything around me.

In college, I never had a boring day of class; experiencing everything from “out of the ordinary” projects to learning about the momentous impact architecture and interior design have had on our history. My experiences with classes and UC’s co-op program helped me target my goals for the future. Having worked for two healthcare firms, a retail firm, a hospitality firm and an event production firm, I have seen a wide range of design in practice.

My enthusiasm for design was also sparked during a study-abroad program. I was able to see the historic mosques of Turkey, the religious chapels of Italy, and the modern designs of France, Switzerland, and Germany. Seeing such monumental and inspiring design reminded me of why I pursued this education in the first place.

When I am not in studio or the office, I enjoy spending my free time playing piano, practicing yoga, swinging in the park, or drinking a cup of coffee.
