About 

I am a registered Architect with 27 years of experience in the fields of planning, architecture and project management. As a LEED Accredited Professional I began studying sustainable design in the late 1980’s. In the last 15 years, I have worked on the design and project management of over $330 million in healthcare, justice, and higher educational facilities, participating as the client main point of contact, leading firm pre-design through construction activities, coordinating multiple user groups, problem solving, mentoring staff, developing schedules,coordinating A/E teams,and utilizing 3D visualization / BIM software to improve design communication.

Provided design and project coordination for a 232,000 SF Jail in Kingman, AZ, a $22,000,000 expansion in Henderson Nevada, a $130,000,000 inmate entry facility in California and a 911 . Emergency Operations Center for Pima County , AZ. Duties varied amonst projects, however, included project management as the client point of contact,, coordination of staff activities from Pre-Design through Construction Documents,staff mentoring, budget analysis, meeting coordination, marketing, preliminary proposal development, presentations and development of in-house project financial feasibility analysis.

Provided design and project coordination for healhcare and eduaction projects. Healthcare projects included a position as the senior project architect/manager for a major 6-Story Patient Tower Addition and existing hospital remodel / expansion, expansion of an existing Operating Room to provide four new OR's, feasibility studies fro the expansion of a Maternal Child Facility, build out of a second floor above an existing cancer center into medical offices and addition of a new urgent care / medical office facility as part of the Phase 1 development of a future hospital site. Duties also included management of an indefinite delivery contract for several Indian Health Service projects such as a Youth Rehab Center and building seismic retrofits.
As the Studio Director for Higher Education I was the main point of contact for design and management of a computer commons addition / renovation at Eastern Arizona College, High Bay Lab, Visitor Center Student Center Master Plan Study, and Dining Commons at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and the interior rennovation of a Patient Care Learning Lab Center for the University of Arizona. Expereince also included the magement of a $14,000,000 Bond for additions and improvements at four high schools and development of the site and building design for a $59,000,000 new High School.
