German de la Torre G

Born in Colombia, German worked in his own practice for a few years before moving in 2001 to London, Uk looking for international experience.

Currently erfoming as a Senior Architect for Foster and Partners German has been for the last 2 and a half years in charge of the Design Development for the new Head Quarters building for Banco Ciudad of Buenos Aires-Argentina. German was relocated to Argentina for a year and a half to run and supervise the aesthetic compliance of the design during construction.

Previously Senior Architect at Richard Rogers Partnership (renamed RSH-P), Lisfchutz Davidson Sandilands, and Senior independent consultant among others, German has been in charge of running the delivery of design and technical packages in Architecture, Design Management, Project System Management and others for a a large number of projects of considerable scale.

With a varied experience in projects in the Middle East, the UK, Russia, USA and South America German has performed a key role in a number of projects of international importance and reputation such us the Tower 3 for the World Trade Centre in New York, The Leadenhall building currently under construction in the city of London, The Bankside residential recently completed next to the Tate Modern Museum in London, Canary Riverside office towers for GP Morgan Chase in Canary Wharf  London and more recently the New Campus Project for Apple in California.

German has Lectured at the Bartlett School of Planning in the University College of London and he has also been keynote speaker at the Universidad of Buenos Aires, Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Universidad Javeriana in Bogota.
