I have been working in the field of architecture for 8 years now after graduating from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh. I am interested in many subjects outside of architecture, including literature, photography, and nature. I try to bring a certain level of energy and focus to all that I do and am really interested in exploring all of the facets of architecture and this great field that we work in.
If you would like to speak with a couple of associates I have worked with, I would
recommend these two:
Thor Jonsson who I previously worked with at The Architecture Studio

2008 Temporary Outdoor Gallery Space Competition Austin, Other
Submitted a competition entry for a temporary gallery space for Art Week in Austin, Texas. Artwork is supported on pillars symbolic of forests and moonlight towers that highlight the creative energy of the Festival and the City. Pillars/trees made of unit modules are built for the utmost flexibility; the pillars create walls for hanging art, pedestals for supporting art, and nooks for inserting art into. The monolithic pillars, akin to trunks of trees in the forest, define and enclose space through their mass and filigree.
2006 West End Bridge Competition, Other
The Riverlife Taskforce in Pittsburgh set up this competition for the design of a pedestrian bridge to be added to an existing historic bridge. In order to utilize the great views of downtown and create the best experience of the awe inspiring bridge our team came up with a solution that goes above the deck of the existing bridge by latching onto the existing steel structure.
2005 Flight 93 Memorial Competition, Other
This competition entry was completed by myself and my collegue, Adam Beaulieu. Our idea for the competition was to allow the visitors to the site to have a place of entry and a journey through the site. Through making distinct cuts into the earth for the path, the experience becomes one of reflection at the impact Flight 93 had on the site, the individual, and the country.
