About Me

I was born and raised in the islands of Haiti, moved to the United States 10 years ago when i was twelve years old in a search of better life and education. Currently a senior student at Ringling College of Art and design located in Sarasota FL, and majoring in Interior Design.  I am very passionate about design. I work hard and have what  it takes to get each task done. I love working in team and being able to bounce ideas off each other. I pay great attention to detail and very well organized.In addition, I am capable of working in a team or independently. I have  intermediate knowledge of Auto CAD, Sketchbook Pro, PowerPoint, Illustrator, MS Word and Excel, Revit, Adobe suit, 3DS max and Google Sketchup.

Elected by peers to handle all administrative duties and managed all monetary concerns. Directed twelve undergraduate student members from freshmen to senior level. Set numerous meetings, scheduled events and fundraisers. Arranged Lunch and Learn lectures with architects, and interior designers about the current design trends. Volunteered at the ASID Professional Level for Designer Digs in Sarasota and gave tours of designer homes to raise money for Habitat Humanity

As part of the design team helped conceptualize a four-­‐level mural for the hospital. Processed AutoCad sketches to visualize the square footage and 3d views to present to the client. Volunteered with an organized group of Ringling students to complete the mural on location.

Created caricatures of the elders, and designed books with sixteen portraits to accompany text for this project. The purpose was to understand older generations by listening to what they have to say to younger generations. This also helped and was therapeutic for the elders to watch their portraits in process.
