About

I’ve been lucky to work for great firms throughout my career. Our headcounts in the office may have been small-to-medium, but the ambition and opportunity to acquire experience have been huge.

While working in San Francisco and New York City, I was fortunate to contribute to many types of projects throughout all phases of design and construction. I’ve been a part of corporate interiors and apartment renovations on Park Avenue - and worked equally as hard stretching the budget for nonprofit organizations trying to do good work with very little resources.

There have been public safety and essential services facilities that called for certain processes while using public funds. Governmental buildings that required adherence to strict design guidelines (and a bureaucratic process for implementation). Commercial projects to satisfy the Board AND the users, with a balanced focus on quality, budget and schedule. Municipal planning to identify the larger goals, then create standards and guidelines. Residential design that afforded the opportunity to form smaller environments and help to shape a Client’s very personal dreams.

I look forward to delivering great work in the Austin office at STG Design.
