Born and raised in Korca, Albania, Olia Miho moved with her family to Chicago at the age of 13. She
received her B.S in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign followed
by her Master in Architecture from the University Cincinnati where she was awarded the SAID Distinguished Design Research Award for her final thesis called Concrete Cathedrals, a conceptual response to the thousands of bunkers in Albania.
