A California licensed architect and LEED accredited professional who is passionate about design’s capacity to shape the built environment with creativity, environmental conscientiousness and material sustainability. Having a depth of experience in both commercial interiors and multi-residential buildings, I am currently seeking to become part of a creative design team that is driven by innovation, collaboration, and has a unique point of view.
With over a decade of extensive experience in interior design and construction, I have developed a finely balanced skill set anchored by a depth in technical knowledge and creative out of the box thinking. My experience with a wide range of interior projects broadly spans design, construction, and project management. As a seasoned Senior Project Manager/Architect, I have led the design and effectively managed multiple large-scale interior renovation design projects to meet rigorous budget and schedule requirements.
Informing all of the work that I do is a conscientiousness toward sustainable design, from strategy through to materials, due to my personal philosophy that architecture should lead by example in responsibly shaping our built environment. A few recently completed projects that I am especially proud of include: the San Francisco offices of Silicon Valley Bank which received LEED-CI v3 Gold certification and the San Francisco Office of Western Union Digital which is anticipated to receive LEED-CI v3 Silver certification.
Aside from my work-focused design, I have skillfully managed the programming, design, construction documention and contract administration phases of a $50M renovation of the 900-unit Marina Harbor Apartment Complex in Marina del Rey, CA. The scope for this three-year project included: architectural upgrades to the common area interiors, the residential unit interiors and the exterior building envelope. My team achieved Design Control Board (DCB) planning approval for both architectural design and sign design during first submission.
