Saarinen Swanson Essay Competition, 1st Place

Students were invited to submit essays addressing contemporary critical discourse in design and/or urbanism. Winning essay "Defining Architecture, Discovering Possibility," addressed the discrepancies in architectural education (fantastical) and architectural practice (feasible) and implored the acknowledgement of both.
