About 

 As a graduate at the CIDA accredited Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, I have acquired a skill set including Broad understanding of construction documents and code research, a high proficiency of Auto CAD architectural software, software such as Sketch-up and Adobe Photoshop and Indesign, drawing/rendering, lighting design and current sustainable materials. I have a great work ethic and a passion for sustainable design. Research of new and exciting FF+E specifications is very enjoyable for me. Space planning is my specialty as I thoroughly enjoy problem solving, which a skill that translates to multiple other areas of my work. Communication is a strength of mine which enables me work very well with other people. I thrive in a team environment. I have a zeal for sustainable design which rides through every aspect of the the way I live. My greatest desire is to share the incredible benefits of a sustainable life with the others through design. Additionally, being a working artist has given me a more developed eye for composition and relationships of color within space.

Exposed to various aspects and applications of sustainable design.
Participated in an actual design charette which was used for the sustainable redesign of our campus.
Developed a extensive research library of sustainable information and sources.

Restaurant and Retail Design – RMCAD – Spring 07’

Worked in multidisciplinary team including interior and graphic designers with much success.
Performed the ability to specify the correct products that worked properly for the design concept.
Created presentation boards that clearly, and aesthetically communicated the design.

Successfully designed a 30,000 S.F. space using an ecological approach.
Developed a more comprehensive understanding of building codes and code research.
Gained knowledge of contemporary systems furniture options.
