About

My name is Eduardo Ordaz. I am originally from Eagle Pass, Texas but moved to San Antonio in 2002  to pursue and ultimately acquire a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I resided in San Antonio for seven years, graduating in 2007 and working a couple of years there after. In 2009, I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico for Graduate School and  received a Masters of Architecture from The University of New Mexico in May 2012.

Architecture school has developed my design capabilities and now I seek further development in becoming a licensed professional. In addition to my education, my experience in construction, as well as working for a few design firms has taught me the importance of time management and teamwork.

My years at the University of New Mexico also helped me acquire a strong work ethic.  From 2009 to 2012, I held a graduate assistantship at the School of Architecture.  I balanced many responsibilities for numerous faculty members while maintaining a strong academic standing and graduating with Honors. In the process, I developed strong and friendly relationships with the University faculty.

Consistently working with others has taught me the importance of communication skills.  I pride myself on being reliable and persistent in order to achieve team goals, especially those that better a community or one’s quality of life.

I have always had a passion for almost anything related to design and building and recently became interested in furniture design/ assembly and photography. Aside from Architecture and design in general, my other interests include tennis, soccer, cycling and basketball. I also enjoy traveling and I am always open to living and working in new cities.
