I have a long standing interests in architecture, my enthusiasm and fast learning ability. Thanks to my participation in the Department of Publicity in Art Center, the largest art group in SJTU, I have developed my own aesthetics and graphic design style, as well as strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills. Then I was in charge of graphic design of several campus-wide events and became the Art Instructor of Art Center. In 2010, I served as a volunteer for Expo 2010 Shanghai China and our team was rewarded as the Excellent Volunteer Team.

During the study at PennDesign, I attended two highly intensive non-linear methodology-focused studios and worked hard to have a better practice and understanding in the parametric design approach.  I also took a furniture design course to make a real scale chair prototype, which benefited me a lot of the process of the realization of design, from sketch model to fabrication.
