About

As a designer of custom homes, remodeling plans and commercial concepts, I am one of the lucky ones. I am living every day doing what I love. Designing my first home at 11 and becoming a third generation architect in my family, I have big shoes to fill. Grandpa, Frank Wynkoop AIA, designed (for himself) the iconic Butterfly House, In Carmel-by-the-Sea. And, my father Dudley F. Wynkoop, helped bring the HOK brand to the west coast as the first west coast President in 1967. After studying three years of interior design and then staring a burgeoning design firm, I interned and studied to receive a licence as a General Contractor.  After completing over 100 residential and commercial projects, I wen t back to school and have just achieved a 21st century master of architecture degree.  Now its time to get serious! I have a legacy to uphold.

The Architecture Critic : Separating Truth from Propaganda

As a recent master of architecture graduate, and a designer with 11 years of professional experience, I have many ideas about what great design is. I like starting conversations about what I see and others can agree or contribute their opinions.
