About

The City of Hampton, which is located in Hampton, Virginia is where I have gained much of my professional experience.  I worked under the City Engineer and the Facilities Operations Supervisor as an Architect Intern.  While there I held the responsibility of handling small redesign projects, researching materials, developing product specifications, and participating in the RFP process.  I was also assigned the on-going responsibility of conducting on-site building assessments and creating digital master plans for the older city buildings from on-site documentation.

Performing construction adminstration duties such as completing construction documents, presentation preparation, creating charts and graphs and researching information as well as teaching training courses on the use and operation of the assessment database were additional resposibilities adpated into the position.

My skill level with Revit-Architecture BIM is advanced as well as my familiarity with AutoCAD and SketchUp alike.  Additionally, my interests in architecture include international design, historic preservation as well as sustainable design.
