PROFILE
Coordinated the structural, electrical, mechanical, and fire protection for primarily commercial, but also residential projects. Most recently involved with the David Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, focusing principally on the design and construction of an innovative columnless public meeting room as well as other public spaces within the building. Collaborated in the planning of healthcare facilities using evidence based design principles, the broadest of which would be overall organization of building’s program components, down to organizing medical devices in a manner that is environmentally safe and secure. Fabricated precision three dimensional models and drawings for a cutting edge level one trauma center with the goal of balancing the demands of the healthcare environment, and improving the patient efficiency and experience at UMASS Memorial Medical Center. The culmination of these efforts resulted in an award winning projects. Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe products focusing on setting up and organizing drawings sets, construction documents, and details of multiple projects.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Architect Level II : July 2008 to October 2008 Ellenzweig, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Worked jointly on the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research project. Created programming, planning and designing services for the 180,000 square foot research facility. Emphasis on unique design by specific product selection to enhance the use of communal spaces by creating flexibility for multifunctional areas to enhance interaction and teamwork amongst the users. The building employs both dedicated lab space as well as common areas, and features a ground floor gallery exhibiting art and technical displays related to biomedical research. Also formulated construction documents and was engaged in CAD management, materials selection, codification and research.

Organized, created and maintained both physical and digital construction document sets for the Emmett Obrien Technical High School in Connecticut. Coordinated the structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing phases to prevent conflicts in architectural drawings as well as in CAD management on an ongoing basis.
Architect Level II : September 2003 to April 2007 Cannon Design, Boston, Massachusetts
Contributed to a wide range of projects involving healthcare facilities, biomedical centers, sports complexes and universities. Focused on design development of construction documents and Cad management. Part of a team, that designed the University Campus, Lakeside addition for the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Wocester, Massachusetts. Jointly worked together to formulate programming, planning and designing services for a four story, 284,500 square foot building, including an emergency department, intensive care unit, surgery and imaging program . Participated in site visits, construction meetings and developed punch lists. Involved as well, in the construction administration, ensuring that the building was bulit to drawing specifications.
