I was born and raised on the island of Freeport, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas. I recently graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with my B.F.A in Architecture.
My Architecture Philosophy: Architecture starts with a simple space and its feeling. In order to capture the true experience of a building, art, or even life you must embrace every aspect of it, not only see it, but feel, taste, touch and smell it. I see my architecture in this way: it starts conversations, gets people thinking, and engages the user through form, space and order. I see the architect is an artist; we paint our facades into the urban landscape, sculpt our form through structure and skin and create a work of art that encompasses, protects and engages. Overall a space should occupy a balance of past and present, form and function, art and technology, where we begin to see the connection of man and landscape to architecture. The job of the architect to is to find this hidden truth and reveal the why and how of a space.
