Cátia Sander

Possessing a degree in Architecture and Urban Design and with over 12 years of experience in both U.S., and Brazil Cátia’s extensive design experience includes condos, villas, hotels, restaurants, private residences and furniture design.

Cátia currently collaborates in many different projects, including Sadie - a new Restaurant in Hollywood; 800º- a Pizzeria in Westwood; Sorpasso - a Coffee Shop in Santa Monica; and Boost Kitchen- a new restaurant with a Health Food concept in Venice Beach, California

Cátia designed Robert de Niro’s AGO Restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Rowdy Red Wine and Burger Bar in Los Angeles, featuring an extensive wine list and burger menu, and the third Farm of Beverly Hills restaurant in the new LA Live Center, in downtown Los Angeles.

She also completed The Farm of Beverly Hills, Topanga, California, and contributed to the Bliss Spa, W Hotel, Los Angeles; uWink at the Hollywood and Highland Center, Los Angeles; 7000 Melrose, Los Angeles; and Mexicali Restaurant in Studio City, California.

Before joining RGA, Cátia worked for Envirotechno, Santa Monica, California; Create Resources Associates, Culver City, California; and R5 Assemblage and Technical Counseling LTD in Brazil. Her prior projects in California include Donald Trump’s Ocean Trails Club House, Palos Verdes Estates; Urth Café, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills; Bubba Gump Shrimp, Santa Monica Pier; and the Marriott Shadow Ridge Villas, Palm Desert.

Cátia earned her degree from the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos in Brazil, where she won an award for “Best Final Paper” and named Distinguished Architecture Student. She completed several architectural courses at UCLA and was a Teacher Assistant for the AutoCAD course at UCLA Interior Design Program.
