About

I just finished up my third and final year of graduate school at Drexel University, studying interior architecture and design. I am looking to obtain an entry-level interior design position that will enable me to use my strong organizational skills, educational background, and innovative design abilities in order to enhance my skill set while working with an accomplished and eminent team of designers.

I am very familiar with a lot of design software, including AutoCAD, the Adobe Design Suite, Google SketchUp, and 3ds MAX. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Studio Arts, and have always been an artistic person.

I have worked two internships while in school. The first was at Franklin Interiors, a Steelcase dealer, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I worked with the designers on space planning, specifying furniture, site surveys, and helped in their material’s library. The second is at Ballinger in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I help designers on a variety of projects relating to healthcare, higher education, and corporate environments. I assist them with work in AutoCAD, 3D renderings, furniture and finish selection, as well as presentations. I was also put in charge of their finish library where I meet with sales representatives and keep the space organized.

I believe that I would an asset to your firm. I am hardworking, creative, organized, and eager to learn. A job opportunity would provide me with the ideal opportunity to assist at your organization and to expand my knowledge of design in the real world.
