About

Dear Recruiter,

I would like to inquire about an Architectural Intern position with your firm.

I aim to obtain a position in which I can gain experience, grow and enhance my skills through the practice of innovative design and comprehensive work. I am a well-organized, self-motivated and flexible individual who can adapt to any type of setting, collaborate with a team and multi-task at work. I can translate conceptual and schematic information into technical and detailed drawings.

I recently graduated from California College of the Arts and will be receiving my Bachelors of Architecture Degree. In my studies I have been able to practice my creativity in school through conceptual and technical projects. My interest in working with your firm is to gain work experience and knowledge of all aspects of architecture from design to construction and marketing. My goal in the field of architecture is not only to become licensed, but to also enhance my skills as a designer so that I may bring forth the best work possible for clients.

I look forward to meeting and discussing with you the possibility of joining your team. Attached are my resume and work samples. I can be contacted by phone at (415) 519-6401 or by email at david.aa.barry@gmail.com. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

David Barry
