About

Born in Chicago IL, I moved to the west coast for school and studied architecture at the University of Oregon. I received my B.Arch from the University of Oregon in June of 2012.

Over my last few years in school I had been avidly working as a Teaching Assistant for intro studios and had learned quite a bit from working with others.  I highly valued environmentally sensitive and unique design approaches both in fellow student's works as well as my own.

In my final year at the University of Oregon I had been involved in forming a new student group that focuses on digital modeling and fabrication known as DMC (you can find their blog here).

Attended one of the most well respected sustainable schools in the country, my classes focused on green strategies (both passive and non-passive), building ecology and some urban planning. I also qualified for a summer abroad in Kyoto Japan in 2010, where we studied urban design and presented our proposals to city officials and architects. This design has since been used by our professor for an official proposal to the city of kyoto for a new water-way and transit hub.
