As an architectural intern with excellent qualifications and a strong desire to excel in this profession, I am seeking a position with a company positioned for strong growth. The scope of my capabilitites has been demonstrated through my experience in creating conceptual designs, developing architectural drawings, and generating detailed construction documents.

Employment 

Mountain Concepts, Truckee, CA, US, Architectural Assistant

Architectural design of residential homes with a contemporary mountain aesthetic. Duties include development of construction documents, renderings, and other detail oriented form of representation. Projects located in Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and Reno areas including Martis Camp and Gray's Crossing communities. Design platforms used in house include sketch up, layout, auto cad, an photoshop.

Cubehills Corporation, Chicago, IL, US, Design Assistant

Feng Shui interior design and consulting firm working out of Chicago's central loop. With projects in Hinsdale, Oakbrook Terrace, and rural Chicago neighborhoods this company focuses on mediums such as business branding, literature, interior development, and custom design. Software platforms include Rhinocerious 3D, Autocad, and the Adobe Creative Suite (including photoshop, illustrator, and indesign).

My duties included 3d models and renderings of interior spaces and jewelry/consumer goods. I also developed the company's graphic representations through web site and printed literature(s). In the office contributions to the art and science communities were always aimed high. I successfully proposed and developed a published article titled Feng Shui Plants: Science's Turn, the article discusses the purification methods of certain plant species and discusses interior strategies for spatial applications.

Miller Design Management, Lombard, IL, US, Architectural Archivist/ Building Assessments/ Client Relations

Working in relation with the Cook County Forest Preserve, duties included architectural archivist and on-site building assessment. Conditions documented include roof, envelope, window, interior, structural, and site. Inspection documents include the production of professional detailed assessments along with corresponding photography. Software platforms include Microsoft office, Autocad, and GIS. This was a 3 team project including the PBC (Public Buidling Commision) and ISES (Facility Conditions Systems). Consistent performance assessment of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and hardware were to be included.

Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH, US, BArch, Architecture and Environmental Design

This school found my focus through its emphasis on the arts as well as some upcoming projects developed on campus including Snohetta's Wolf Center. Senior year offered an urban design studio which works hand in hand with community officials who hold chair positions with the City of Toledo, as well as a nice regional positioning with regards to other schools and city's with admirable architecture. While attending school at Bowling Green I traveled to New York, Cambridge, Philadelphia, St Petersburg, Miami, and numerous other cities surrounding the state of Ohio. I saw lectures ranging from Peter Eisenman at University of Michigan to Patrik Schumaker at Carnegie Mellon. I saw great pieces of architecture ranging from Le Corbusier's Carpenter Center and DS+R's High Line on the east coast to HOK's Salvador Dali Museum and Frank Gehry's New World Symphony in Florida

This is the #2 community college in the US, behind Orange County Community College. I based the focus of my studies in architecture, environmental design, and all associated ethics. I was constantly engaged within the urban art scene surrounding Chicago, activities included gallery openings, Peecha Kucha nights, and numerous architecture and fine arts lectures including SANNA and Renzo Piano. I worked hand in hand with Habitat for Humanity (Wheaton) assessing LEED certification possibilities and further clarifying all questions regarding the LEED for Homes certification process.
