I graduated from Judson University with my bachelors degree in Architectural design April 2012. I am seeking an internship as part of my masters program. I plan to continue on and obtain my masters and then get my License. Judson has taught me how to be a well rounded architect and I cant wait to start using what I have learned.
I am very passionate about sustainable design. During my schooling I tried to focus heavily on it, because the world of architectural design is headed that way. I grew up in a very small town in the country and enjoy nature and being outside. This has impacted the way that I think about architecture in many ways, and has also made me want to protect the little natural environment we have left.
I also enjoy furniture design and making. I have been making furniture since I was a small boy in my grandpas basement. I have done many projects such as coffee tables, Gun Cabinet, Headboards, Dressers, and Kitchen cabinets.
I have an online portfolio that shows a variety of my work and has a little more about me.
Judson University, Elgin, IL, US, BArch, Architecture
I studied architectural design at Judson University. My studies were mainly focused on sustainability in all aspects, both buildings and lifestyle. I think that all buildings should at least do the minor steps of sustainability like daylighting, orientation, and ventilation. Energy saving is very important these days and I like the fact that many firms are joining the 2030 challenge, and are becoming more and more sustainable.
I also learned how to use many different computer programs such as:
SketchUp
Revit
Rhino
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign
I have established a good base and I have knowledge in many different aspects of architecture and am ready to use those skills in a firm.
