In 2010, I received my first graduate degree in Environmental Planning from the University of
Illinois at Chicago and then afterward matriculated into the University of Sheffield’s landscape
architecture program. The University of Sheffield is an ASLA recognized affiliate university,
allowing me, in future, the flexibility to practice in the US and in the European Union.

I chose the University of Sheffield because of its strong scholarship in horticultural and ecological theory in landscape practice as sustainable infrastructural improvements to our urban environments. I also studied to further my understanding of viewing and experiencing landscape, inspiring strategic, programmatic, organizational, and allegorical representation in design.

I have a strong interest in native plants, inherent plant communities, and local ecologies.   I also strongly believe that contemporary landscape architecture should not tolerate the use of federally listed invasive plants in design.

I hold dual citizenship in the US and the UK.
