About

Employment

Kidson Land Company, San Francisco, CA, US, Interior Architect and Designer

I am currently employed as an 'Interior Architect and Designer' at Kidson Land Company. I accepted this position because I was granted the opportunity to be exposed to a wide outlook of the elements it takes to have a successful commercial and residential design.

In my position with Kidson Land Company, as an Interior Architect and Designer, I am heavily involved in every possible perspective of the design process. I work one on one with the lead principle in directing a crew consisting of in-house journeymen carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and mason whom help me execute the design intent with precision. I also have experience with the Berkeley & Oakland Building and Planning departments. My experience with Kidson Land Company has afforded me the opportunity to work independently, from sketches evolving into occupancy. I have come to understand the importance noting each detail involved with every trade and fixture. My experience has also acquainted me with the knowledge and persistence it takes to multi-task numerous proposals mean while obtaining new quotes, and tracking shipments.
