I am an experienced designer with an MArch degree and 6+ years practicum, most recently in the city of Los Angeles where I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, during which time I have completed two residential projects, permit acquisition for various clients and projects, and am currently overseeing a commercial renovation of my own design for a non-profit organization in South Central Los Angeles. My responsibilities have included:
With Phase 1 of the renovation almost complete, approval for Phase 2 in place, and a 25,000 sqft plan for expansion in the exploratory phase, I am interested in working with an established Los Angeles firm specializing in contemporary commercial, retail, and other public space, where I can apply my skills as designer, project manager, draftsman and city specialist to contribute to the quality and realization of the firm's projects, and the evolution of the Los Angeles cityscape.

- Membership Services structure: Designed addition, ADA improvements to
existing 10,000 sqft structure, parking, lot tie resolution, and permitting.
- Central & 29th CRA Façade & Public Sidewalk Redesign: Designed
greenscreen facade, signage & paint scheme, Graphic panel system,
concrete removal & replacement, tree removal and replacement, wall vines,
exterior lighting, irrigation, revocable permits, construction management.
- Operation Shade: Designed 4000 sqft sail structure over playfield, permitting,
construction management.
- Operation Daylight: Designed layout of 50 skylights and solar tubes to be
installed on existing 10,000
sqft structure, Title 24 analysis, structural analysis, electrical and hvac integration.
- Charter School Expansion feasibility study: Long term strategic planning and
graphic presentation for conversion of 17 downtown lots into 25,000 sqft charter
school.
