About 

With 5 years’ experience, Richard is currently freelance for a Wind Energy Company in the UK North, Richard is a member of IEMA and Licentiate member of the Landscape Institute and working towards chartership and EIA qualifications from IEMA, with skills in Consultancy, business skills, and management, and experience working with other professionals.

Other works involve stages of Landscape Visual Impact Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments, and on-going study of EIA work consultation and character land assessments for clients

Primary skills sets for my work are, Consultancy, business skills, and management, with experience working with other professionals. Other works involve Landscape Visual Impact Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments, Consultation and Character Land Assessments.

His work involves extensive knowledge of various plants and the habitats and wild plants and woodlands, nature reserves and sub-tropical gardens for low temperature climates. Some past projects have been considered excellent pieces of design work.

With a passion for designing both Urban Landscapes and natural environments, working with nature and bio-diverse systems, as well as environmental and sustainable developments.

Projects involved plans to be drawn up for consultation, for schools and communities involved with the University contractors; private and Government funded projects.

Previous projects involved Urban Living Systems for Leeds, LS9 area, and the Central Park project for Leeds City Centre. All the designs are based on the needs of the growing city and the development of brownfield site. Enriching the natural eco system that is attached to the area but also creating a living environment. Other projects attached to this are the international project for landscape algae food production and concept.

Through hands-on practical experience, I learned how to survey and analyse a sites and take into account of natural and cultural processes and how people respond to the site and take into account customers responses.
