Brandon E. Young received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University in May 2011. After his undergraduate education, he worked for the Cleveland-based architecture firm Kaczmar Architects Inc. working on Medical and Hospitality projects with clients such as the Cleveland Clinic and the Veterans Administration. During this time, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Kent State University College of Architecture and Environmental Design where he taught Second Year Design Studio. In 2011, Brandon began a two-semester long internship for the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative where we worked on projects for the City of Cleveland and the City of Streetsboro. Currently, Brandon works for Braun and Steidl Architects as an Intern Architect.
Brandon completed his Masters of Architecture and Masters of Urban Design at Kent State Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) in May 2013.
Brandon's passion for design goes beyond the realm of architecture and urban design. He also pursues graphic-design related projects. He has experience working for clients in the Northeast Ohio area such as Winking Lizard Inc., Kleins Landscaping Company, Young's Painting Company, Jemson Custom Builders, and Automotive Events.
