I am spunky, driven, creative, innovative, fun, comedic- but more importantly a hard worker and logical. I am interested in opportunities in landscape architecture, urban design, and city planning. In the long run, I aim to move forward in establishing park systems for underserved and post-industrial cities and neighborhoods to promote environmental justice, climate equality, food security and healthy living.
My experiences have given me:
- computer skills: AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Modelling, Sketchup w/VRay
- excellent event planning, coordination and fundraising skills
- strong graphic design and publication skills
- strong urban planning theory and methodology
- strong command on construction and shop drawings
- good handle on construction management and administration
- good understanding on downtown renovation and storefront revitalization
- basic interior and retail design
- plant identification and specification
- skilled in carpentry (sheetrocking, painting, furniture restoration, flooring, demo)
- arts administration and instruction
- other artsy things: poetry, creative writing, watercolor, sculpture, dance, collage.
