About 

Jacob is a practising architect at MDG Landscape Architects. He has worked on projects at a range of scales in the areas of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. Jacob completed his bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture with honours in 2009. He has received a grant to pursue his research in interactive landscapes and has presented his work in Vietnam and Amsterdam, as well as travelling extensively throughout Europe investigating different urban environments (Global Urban Measures Study Tour). Jacobs inclusive and opportunistic research explores the potential for highly interactive landscapes, involving people to be the generator for new urban typologies.

Global Urban Measures Study Tour :
Received a grant to travel and present research work to 6 cities throughout Europe and Asia, speculating on alternative urban morphologies for cities under the pressure of rapid urbanization.

Lurujarri Trail:
12 day trail with the Goolarbaloo people of Broome in an attempt to discuss and engage with indigenous people about their knowledge and relationship to land and ‘country’.
