About

My name is Lauren Greer. I am currently working as an Architectural Professional in New York City, on a variety of projects throughout the US and abroad. I specialize in science, health, and educational projects, and I also have experience in high-end residential, civic and cultural projects.

I aim to push the boundaries of traditional architecture, redefining and questioning it's place in society. I believe design should serve to improve the lives of people utilizing it. I am interested in the possibility that the built environment can foster and support learning, healing, and creativity across socioeconomic boundaries.

In my spare time I run a reading group for women architecture and design professionals, which focuses on the impact that design has across economic, racial and social boundaries. I am constantly questioning the way in which design is practiced, and how it can be rethought to better serve and relate to a wider range of people.
