The way which we perceive space, and behave within it , is a key factor in identifying and describing a civilization. The study and practice of architecture covers such a broad and diverse variety of situations which, when combined, contribute to a complex and delicate understanding of place. This understanding is gained by a critical eye, the endless evaluation, and continuous monitoring of our environments. It is my hope that the work done in the field of architecture be integrated more in the common sense of our culture, resulting in more creative, interesting, sustainable and socially responsible places.
I have worked as an architect and designer both independantly and in various offices. I prefer to be involved in one-off projects requiring high levels of detail and sensitivity. My last few years of experience have taught me that a high quality of life is the highest priority, and doesn't always mean what you think. It pays off everytime, without fail. I don't want to simply make nice buildings, I want to contribute to the overall well being of our planet, civilization and everyday lives.

The design department at SPI Nordic is tasked with designing, visualizing and marketing a wide range of indoor play products. As part of this team, I worked with AutoCAD, 3DS Max / Vray and the Adobe Suite to provide technical and graphical expertise throughout this process.

I have collaborated with Martin Arfalk of MANDAWORKS landscape architecture to complete a city square design proposal in Klagshamn, Malmö, a competition entry for a cemetery in Stockholm (Jarvä Common), and have built and maintain the company’s web site, www.mandaworks.com.

DKD Perspektiv is a rendering office located in Helsingborg, Sweden. I worked on 3D models and architectural renderings for various architects in Sweden. I learnt and used extensive skills in AutoCAD, 3DS Max and principles of graphic design.

Salkeld Design Build consults and manages residential design build projects within Manitoba. As a contractor, I designed, managed and constructed the extensive renovation of a cottage on lake Manitoba.
