At Pratt, as an alternative to thesis, I am enrolled in the Exhibition Design Intensive (EDI) Program where I have been working on live projects in teams. This studio works in conjunction with Ralph Applebaum Associates (RAA) and focuses on experiential design. As one of the studio project, I am currently working on a national level competition for “Parks for the People” project organized by Van Allen Institute and National Park Services. For this project I did extensive research on the history of the Hopewell Furnace National Park and then used design as a catalyst to creatively rethink Hopewell’s connection to people and its role as revered natural, social and cultural destination. I have also worked in a team to design a Halloween show window for Urban Outfitters which was showcased in SOHO, New York in October 2011. In addition to this, I have worked on several individual design projects at Pratt ranging from Retail design for Hema, Corporate office for Ideo, Residential interiors, and a Public Library.
