About

I go to school at Pratt Institute for interior design and have an equal affinity for hospitality, residential, as well as retail design. My passion for the industry is bolstered by my strong design ethos and is enriched with ancillary interests like architecture, design history, furniture design and fashion design. My rigorous work ethic and social nature have been instrumental in my success at Pratt and I am eager to apply those same principles in the form of an internship.

Employment

Saks, Niagara Falls, NY, US, Visual Merchandiser and Sales Associate

I familiarized myself with all departments and helped customers with putting together head-to-toe looks. I dressed the mannequins to set the look for the store, dramatically increasing sales in the process. Interacting with customers and anticipating their needs was a natural skill set that I further developed through my tenure at Saks.

River Oaks, Grand Island, NY, US, Waiter

The most important lessons I learned as a waiter were timing, and balancing a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. My sociable nature helped to make customers feel comfortable and well taken care of, while my rigorous work ethic set the precedence of professionalism that defined my stay with River Oaks.
