About

As listed in my resume I have a strong educational background with sixteen years of work experience since graduation in all phases of architectural design, construction administration, and construction management.  The success of my work is based on the ability to relate well to clients and communicate clearly with contractors, construction managers, and consultants.

I have proficient computer skills and have kept up to date on most trends.  I have relied upon myself to run all aspects of a project, ranging from client meetings and administrative documents to design, drafting, and coordinating an architectural set with other trades.  I have spent a great deal of time in the field to manage projects as an architect, while for three years during the recent ‘Great Recession,’ I’ve worked for a contracting company designing spaces and directly managing construction from start to finish including ordering materials and meeting with clients and tenants.

Design is a great interest of mine, with regard to both aesthetics and functional challenges.  Because of my background, there is a practicality that I am aware of and am able to yield to site conditions or client wishes/budgets in order to substitute and achieve the initial desired effect.

Architecture for me is about the definition of and circulation through space.  Plans and sections tell the story, while elevations are an extension of them.

My talents are wide in range and I do not think that any one role is limited to one facet.  It is my goal to find a place where I can continue to prosper.
