I am here to introduce myself as a candidate for the position as Architect.
As listed in my resume I have a strong educational background with thirteen years of work experience since graduation in all phases of architectural design, construction administration, and construction management. The success of my work is based on the ability to relate well to clients and communicate clearly with contractors, construction managers, and consultants.
I have highly proficient computer skills. I reply upon myself to run all aspects of a project, ranging from client meetings and administrative documents to design, drafting, and coordinating an architectural set with other trades. I have spent a great deal of time in the field to manage projects as an architect, while for the past 18 months, I’ve worked for a contracting company directing managing construction from start to finish.
Design is a great interest of mine, with regard to both aesthetics and functional challenges. Architecture for me is about the definition of and circulation through space. Plans and sections tell the story, while elevations are less interesting.
I am certain that I can be an asset to you in many aspects; my talents are wide in range and I do not think that any one role is limited to one facet. It is my goal to find a place where I can continue to prosper. Salary requirements are that which I prefer to discuss in person after meeting and becoming familiar with your firm and the project work. I think that anyone with the fortune of working in this climate would appreciate a reasonable and negotiable amount.
