Architect Associate

After finishing university studies I went back to Lamia, Greece where I started and small practice with my brother who is a civil engineer. From this experience I have gained flair for design, an awareness of social trends, keen business sense, understanding the law, engineering skills, technical knowledge, and lead teams of specialists including structural, mechanical and electrical engineers.

Architectural Assistant

After finishing the bachelor degree, I went to Thessaloniki, Greece where I did my practical experience year. The practice I worked for is a medium sized office, owned by the architect Vivian Metallinou. The practice is involved with medium scale residential projects and renovation of listed buildings, and architectural competitions.  

From this experience I have gained knowledge in material technology, awareness in traditional ways of construction and got involved with architectural competitions for the first time.

Architectural competitions:

1. Pan-hellenic architectural competition for the redesign of the area around the stadium of Toumpa and the elevations of the specific stadium, Thessaloniki.
2. Design of the square of Kalandra, Halkidiki.
3. Pan-hellenic architectural competition for the design of a light house in Volos.
4. Pan-hellenic architectural competition for the redesign of the coast of Volos.
