I recently graduated from Northeastern University's architecture graduate program. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from Northeastern, with a minor in political science.
There are many things I consider to be passions, but the two strongest career-wise are design and public policy (as evidenced by my studies in college). I'm always looking for new ways to fuse these two broad interests to create new things, and solve problems. I've always believed that design can be a strong ally to communities in need, and my ideal career would use my design education, civic interests, and boundless energy to provide smart and innovative solutions to social problems.
I enjoy learning, and look for opportunities to learn new things and approach problems from a new angle in everything I do. I've never held a job or worked on a project I didn't enjoy in one way or another, including everything from working as a design instructor for high school students to doing marketing work at an architecture firm. Moving forward, I plan to seek out opportunities with firms and people who will broaden my perspective, and who are eager to have theirs broadened in turn.
