About

I am a recent graduate of The Art Institute of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Architecture and design have been my passion since childhood and I have spent the last four years completing my degree and working in the design field under some of the best interior designers and product representatives.

Throughout my education and professional experience, I've learned a great deal on how to excel on working with people and working for people. It is my belief client considerations come first and I always work my hardest to ensure their satisfaction keeping the company's integrety and reputation in mind. Secondly, I believe it would not be possible to effectively plan and design a space without the support of a highly collaborative atmosphere and I thrive on establishing personal and creative relationships with a team I work with.

Practical knowledge of design solutions to consider in a commercial environment is imperative to be successful and my years experience with various clientele has allowed the opportunity to become diverse in my abilities to work in a professional environment to get a job done with a SUPERIOR outcome. Some of the skills I have acquired are advance computer literacy in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), architectural drafting and rendering programs
(AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max), and Adobe programs including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. My knowledge of computer drafting is not to be outdone by my hand-drafting and rendering ability during those times when a client wants asketch of a designed space on the spot. Along with my knowledge of building codes, systems furniture, way-finding techniques, affects of color and light within a space, and my ability to provide a space plan to be held at the most economical standards, I believe efficient circulation and egress should not be overlooked and I make sure all is considered in my designs.

The main goal I have, when entering a new career position, is to exceed all expectations my employer sets for me when they hire me. In the architecture/design field, it is our job to provide a service and I constantly look for new and unique ways to make what I do easier for my client. I am passionate about my career as an interior designer and therefore, I am willing to relocate from Houston if there is an opportunity to come work for your firm and I look forward to continuing to advance myself, as a designer and individual, with your company in the very near future.
