I’m a 2007 graduate of the University Of Kentucky College Of Design with an accredited bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Since graduation I’ve had the privilege to be involved with multiple projects including two federal prisons, one Kentucky DOC facility, an historic theater, an Illinois National Guard readiness center and a private residence. I’ve also become skilled in the use of AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit and Adobe Photoshop. In the future I hope to apply my talents to designs that challenge the traditional built environment and the way that the public thinks of “architecture” as a whole.
I’ve nearly completed all of my requisite training hours for the Intern Development Program. I plan to begin studying for and taking portions of the Architect Registration Exam within the year, and in the next five years I hope to be fully licensed. I’m also very interested in green design and plan to study for LEED accreditation this year.
Ever since I was a small child, my brain has been translating ideas and concepts into pictures. In addition to architecture, I also love cartoons and have an extensive cartooning career; during my tenure at the University of Kentucky I had more than eighty editorial cartoons published in the Kentucky Kernal, UK’s award-winning student published newspaper.
