I am almost completing a degree in interior design at the New York School of Interior Design. I’ve taken drafting, basic CAD, Revit, design process, space planning, furniture layout, interior lighting, textile, design history, etc. In school I did presentation boards / sheets and 3D models. I sketch, draw and I can render free hand (I was in school of fine art, for 5 years before I immigrated to the US).
Even though I will probably continue to take classes towards an eventual bachelors degree, I’m ready to go into the field now and start my new career (taking small steps). I hope to find a job where I can gain more experience and apply what I have learned and dream of. I am looking for full or part-time, entry-level position or internship in the field to further develop my skills.
