About

I am a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a Master’s Degree in Architecture, and am currently an adjunct professor at the Boston Architectural College.

As an architecture student at RISD,  I led a team to design a carbon-neutral learning facility for a community land trust, developed and established a model for running a winter farmers’ market which included designing and building a point-of-sale structure, and collaborated with a group of high school students to design and build an installation for their school’s underused courtyard.

Since graduating in 2009, I have designed several small-scale projects for a high-end residential contractor in the Boston area.  I have administrative experience, extensive teaching experience, and am proficient in all relevant software applications.  I am very organized, have a keen attention to detail, and a professional attitude.

I am passionate about social and environmental justice, community outreach and design, and work that respects local traditions and urban fabric.  I strongly believe that the design profession has a unique opportunity to help shape the way we live on this planet, from ecologically sound solutions to the psychology of how people experience the built environment.
