David Burke Kitchen and the Jimmy at the James Hotel, New York, NY
5,100sf restaurant for world-famous chef David Burke, and 1,300sf 18th floor rooftop bar. A black-iron bar and suspended wooden roof provide a contemporary farm-to-table feel in the restaurant.

Restaurants at the Eliot Hotel, Boston, MA
1,200sf sushi restaurant and bar for celebrated chef Ken Oringer. Custom panel system ties together floor, walls and ceiling of restaurant, creating a jewel-box effect.

5,000sf project comprised of adjacent sandwich shop and pan-asian restaurant with shared kitchen. Custom bamboo panels and wood beams with integrated lighting establish a sleek but warm character.

Directed technical coordination and participated in all phases of design and document production for large-scale mixed-use projects in Korea and China for 500-person internationally acclaimed architecture, planning and design firm. Participated in remote construction administration and overseas clients meetings. One of six designers chosen to participate in 2nd annual firm-wide Pecha Kucha night.

• Created massing and designed wall types for elevated convention center over four-story retail complex.
• Detailed curtain walls in collaboration with Manila-based curtain wall consultant.
• Designed ground level entry, vertical circulation and fifth-floor pre-function areas to connect elevated convention hall smoothly to ground plane.
• Coordinated all long- and short-span structural systems, mechanical systems and means of egress for elevated convention hall with consulting engineers and architects based in Hong Kong and Shanghai
• Directed technical coordination of mechanical, structural and curtain wall systems for 40-story tower.
• Directed multiple project teams in production of 100% DD packages to meet aggressive schedules.
• Conducted coordination meetings with engineers in Seoul, and participated in on-site client meetings.
• Developed office test fits for tower with shifting profiles, designed residential units for competition entry.

3,400,000sf mixed-use project comprised of hotel tower, office tower, retail podium and convention center. Varying grids tie together the facades of the many massing elements in the complex.

2,600,000sf mixed-use development consisting of three office towers, retail/showroom podium, and public plaza/garden. Two curtain wall types provide contrast for interlocking masses of towers and podium.
