About

Raised in Hong Kong and having studied and worked in major cities in the US and Europe, I have particular fascination towards the dense and diverse qualities of the urban environment. Possessing Canadian, British and Hong Kong citizenships have allowed me to travel to many cities over the past 10 years to explore cities, experience cultures, and study architecture.

As a craftsman, designer, and architect-in-training, I have worked on and executed projects that range in many scales, from the urban plan to architecture, exhibitions to furniture design. My experience with the various scales inspire a persistent pursuit to bring the delicacy of traditional crafts into contemporary architectural practices and conversations. Thus, my approach in the design process is closely tied to experimental drawing, painting, and modeling.

I see architecture and the act of city making as powerful, silent endeavors that can propel citizens to question, comment, and respond to the current cultural political state. My current endeavor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design is a journey to this end.
