Researched and designed Illustrator diagrams on a brownfield reclamation to urban forest project located in a closed ASARCO smelting plant in the Avalos region east of Chihuahua City. Developed Powerpoint and InDesign presentations of the preliminary research and initial designs for the Governor of Chihuahua and the Mayor of Chihuahua. Responsible for the creation of 2D and 3D Renderings via Sketchup, Photoshop and Illustrator. Collaborated with the team in Chihuahua, Mexico on the master planning, conceptual design, and preliminary design development of a new botanical garden in El Rejon near Chihuahua City.

Assisted in the creation of design development drawings for city submittal. Visited client sites to select materials and finishes for implementation. Coordinated with outside contractors to ensure documents were compiled and ready for city submittal.

Nominated for Design Excellence for a theater concept created in collaboration with the Phoenix Actors Studio. Designed and presented one of the first transdisciplinary reinterpretations of the the border relationship between the US and Mexico centered on the two cities of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. Masterplanned a new intermediary zone between the two countries which could act as a positive refuge by utilizing brownfield reclamation, waste water treatment from the Rio Grande, relocating the Consulates, and the implementation of new recreational areas.

Generated a set of community design goals through the “Maryvale on the Move” grant to help improve the health and safety of children within the community of Maryvale.
