About

My curriculum is guided by an intense curiosity, which led me to places, geographically and professionally, where I had to develop ways to adapt quickly to every situation. I strive to remain on the edges of specialties to better experience the underlying interconnection between domains.

Coming from a scientific background, I merged toward architecture, spanning scales from interior design to town planning. After ten years spent in China in specific and Asia in general, I have returned to Canada to complete a master’s degree in urban studies. My thesis examines the hegemony of Western principles used in conception and analysis through a case study involving the transplantation of European villages in Shanghai’s new urban territories.

Lastly, my six-year teaching at an international college of design heightened my communicative skills as I managed to translate complex concepts into coherent graphics that transcended cultural and language boundaries.

I consider myself a professional nomad: I can feel at home in a wide array of locations, as long as I can learn and share my enthusiasm.
