I am a recent graduate of Cornell University’s Bachelor’s of Architecture program looking for work in innovative firms tackling environmental and urban issues through low-impact design approaches.

Over the last five years my academic work has focused on discovering latent ecologies in highly disturbed landscapes: abandoned pit mines, industrial landfills, dredged wetlands, e.g. In such places, which Robert Smithson referred to as “entropic landscapes,” self-regulating processes of resilience, once found in the dynamic relationships between species, landforms and climate have been irrevocably altered. When left alone, the entropic landscape does not improve, but only continues on a feedback loop of deterioration. I see design as the potential to establish new systems and cycles that provide resilience and self-regulation within the context of human-altered environments
