Julie Ann Faiber is a first generation American. Her mother is Italian, her father is British and her brother was born in Canada. Julie was born in Orlando, Florida. She lived in Orlando until she went away to college. Julie has always been a very creative motivated individual. Pursuing her talents, she chose to attend Savannah College of Art and Design. After two years at SCAD, Julie wanted to focus more intently on her chosen major of Interior Design. That next fall semester of Julie's junior year was a special one. She studied abroad in Florence Italy. Here she learned about Italian industrial design, Italian language and European Women's history.
Upon return to America Julie continued her college education at Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Illinois. Julie found Chicago the perfect city in which to study interior design. While attending school full time, Julie also had two jobs. Her first job was as an intern for Scrafano Architects. Her second job was working at a high-end interior design and furniture store called "No Place Like."
Julie landed her first real Interior Design job after graduating Harrington College of Design. Julie's was hired by an architecture firm called BEA International in Coral Gables, Florida. Julie was responsible for designing the firm's new office down the street. Julie took on most roles of this project. She was the Interior Designer, Project Manager, Superintendent, and Relocation coordinator. The entire project took about eight months. The architecture firm was very happy with their new innovative modern workspace.
Julie relocated to Orlando for her next job at CSO architects, which later became known as C4 Architecture. This was a huge opportunity for Julie to grow her career as an Interior Designer. Julie was the sole Interior designer for C4 architecture and made all of the interior design decisions. She worked hand in hand with each client making sure everything was to their greatest satisfaction. While working at C4 Architecture, Julie studied and took the NCIDQ licensing exam. Passing with flying colors, she immediately applied for her Interior Designers License. As a Licensed Interior Designer, Julie is looking to continue growing her career with new, exciting projects.
